Yorkshire manufacturers continue to lead the way
The latest figures for March 2015 from insolvency body R3 show that only 20.9% of Yorkshire manufacturers have a higher than normal risk of insolvency. This is the smallest proportion of any of the 12 regions surveyed across the whole of the UK, with the UK average being 23.4%.
A strong pound is making British goods more expensive in the EU however. Businesses should still proceed with caution and seek expert advice from a licensed insolvency practitioner at the first sign of any problems.
