Tata Steel to cut 1,050 jobs
It is anticipated that more than a thousand redundancies will be made at Tata Steel plants in the coming weeks, with sites in South Wales being the worst affected.
The latest job losses come after Tata Steel laid off 1,200 staff in October.
The dumping of cheap Chinese steel is one of the biggest causes of the crisis and there are suggestions that the UK Government has not taken sufficient action to safeguard the British steel industry.
